We stock a range of produce using local suppliers wherever possible.
Fruit & Veg: Having so many fantastic local farmers around Oxford was really at the core of our decision to open the shop. We like nothing more than working with local farmers who grow the varieties that never make it to the supermarket shelves, who are following the generations before them who care for the soil and manage the land responsibly to get the best out of it. We sell produce that has been picked that day, the freshest tastiest fruit and veg you can buy anywhere.
British and Irish farmhouse cheeses: Featuring a range of artisan British and Irish cow, sheep and goat's milk cheeses that will offer a varied cheeseboard throughout the year.
Sourdough breads: We work with several Oxford bakeries who specialise in sourdough, long fermentation breads for fantastic flavours in spelt, wheat and rye.
Dairy: We supply unhomogenised organic milk from a micro dairy 15 miles north of Oxford. The dairy produces whole and semi-skimmed milk, natural yoghurt and cream. The farmer, Josh, knows all his cows by name.
Charcuterie: Our two suppliers, Pete and James, are both experts in curing meats. They bring us a fantastic range of flavours, including pork with fennel and red wine, classic chorizo and pancetta that will give you bags of flavour. Both use meats that have been raised with the highest standards of animal welfare.
Apple Juice: Rupert is a bit of a food hero in Oxford – he picks apples from Oxford's orchards and makes the most amazing juices, all in single variety batches with names like 'Tom Putt', 'Arthur Turner' and 'Laxton Fortune'. It really is a treat to see him coming down the street on his bicycle.
We also stock local wines, beers and ciders from Oxfordshire vineyards and breweries. Free range eggs. Jams, chutneys and honey, single estate, wood roasted coffee from a local roastery.
